I just wanted to thank both Faith and Eddie for getting us back to our cars safely after our trip to the Botanical Gardens, during the horrific forest fire. They both kept&nbsp;calm, cool and collected during what could have been a very stressful situation, it helped keep the rest of us calm as well.&nbsp; I have now been on several of trips with Faith and have enjoyed all of them, she is very accommodating and pleasant.

A perfect day trip!
Lunch at the Amish home was delicious. The show was superb. We had a great time. Very well managed by Vikky. 



In May, I traveled with GS Getaways to Brooklyn, Philadelphia twice and a multi-day tour to Long Island.  Each experience was unique, interesting and well run.  The excellent step-on guides and docents greatly enhanced the knowledge and appreciation of the sites, and the special meals or restaurants were carefully chosen.  It was also fun getting to know so many fellow travelers and reconnecting with a few from previous trips.  Thank you, Faith and company!

We have been on numerous trips with Faith and they are always adventurous and well planned.  This year started with the Kentucky Derby, Land and Cruise thru Alaska and the Mircle of Christmas in Lancaster Pa was a great way to wrap of the year.  Can't wait for new adventures.

Always a great time with Garden State Getaways! Bus is comfortable and clean,  safe drivers, and John our trip guide is personable, friendly and very funny.  The show was Awesome 👏 and lunch at Chickie and Pete’s was delicious. Always looking forward to my next trip.

“TITANIC” at Liberty Science Center and Don Pepe Newark Lunch

The trip was so enjoyable.  Tony, the tour guide was great!! The bus, the tour of the two pizzerias and Coney Island was so much fun. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Brooklyn Pizza and Neighborhood Tour

It was a great trip.  The scheduled activities were very informative and interesting.  The hotel accommodations were more than acceptable and the included breakfasts made it even better. And the absolute topper was the incredible scenery - beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers! I highly recommend this trip.

We enjoyed our time in Montreal and Quebec. The tour of Montreal was nice but hotel was very dated and we had very little time in Montreal. Tour guide was just ok. 
Quebec was fun. Hotel was dated but restaurant was nice and our meals there were very good.  However the dinner we had with the tour group was awful. Service was terrible and food mediocre. 
We had a good tour guide in Quebec.  Most of the tour very enjoyable. Skip the woodworking and cooper shoppes snd have a bit more free time. Tour of the Frontenac was very good. We loved the fireworks and walking around all the shoppes. 
We enjoyed Lake  George. Dinner cruise was fun and the hotel was the nicest we stayed at. 
All and all a very nice .

We loved experiencing the Titanic exhibit and lunch afterwards was the best !

We really enjoyed the Titanic Exhibit at the Liberty Science Center. Garden State Getaways made the bus trip up the GSP and NJ Turnpike comfortable and carefree. ( certainly beats driving my car up there!)Our guide provided us with precise directions throughout the tour. The meal at Don Pepe's,however, was very disappointing. 

I had a great time….bus was clean and comfortable.  The food was terrific and the
leader did a wonderful job.   Looking forward to my next trip.   😄

We had a great time. Met wonderful people.  Loved the exhibit and enjoyed good food at Don pepe. Bus was very comfortable and tour guide very accommodating to travelers needs, handing out snacks and water.

The tour was very well thought out and timed. The bus was brand new! John from the staff was excellent making sure we were comfortable and on time. Our driver (sorry I don't remember his name) also excellent, pulled off a couple of unbelievable tight turns with the bus on those narrow Brooklyn streets. The pizza was world class at both Grimaldi's and LB Spumoni's. With leftovers to take home, no less! Could not have had a better guide than Tony. He was an almanac of all things Brooklyn. There were no times during our tour when he not pointing.out a fun or interesting fact about a movie scene or historic place along the way. 
And was he funny? Fugetaboutit! 
We would certainly look to book again with Garden State Getaways when our pickup point is closer to GSP 105.

Don Pepe restaurant was okay. 
My husband had the seafood dish, it tasted bland. I had the garlic chicken. It was mostly bone not much meat. Not that tasty. 
The bread was fresh & the wine flowed freely. 
Dessert both had fruit. 

Trip was very good. Loved the Titanic exhibit. Don Pepe’s was awesome! Loved the food, sangria and the service was fantastic. I have been telling all my friends about this trip. Loved it! 
Also, the bus driver was pleasant and funny. He gave us a smooth safe ride.

We enjoyed the comfort and convenience of traveling with Garden State Getaways. John is extremely friendly and accommodating to everyone. The restaurant, Havana Central, was wonderful and the show, Buena Vista Social Club was fabulous! I ordered the soundtrack as soon as I got back on the bus!

Good yankee stadium experience,BUT the Jim Bean club was not very good! It very was crowded, limited seating and food choices and drink choices were terrible! I would much prefer the suite the next, even if it costs more!

It met expectations. Lunch at the Olde Lincoln Tavern was delicious. Exploring Lititz and the fair was a fun experience given how large the fair was. The weather, although a little hot, wasn't a deterrent.

The trip sounded great. 300 juried crafters in Lititz Pa. 
Our driver was terrific, our leader Faith was great, and Lincoln restaurant was
outstanding. However the craft show was not up to my expectations.  I do not believe
even 5% were “juried” crafters. Nothing compared to Sugar Loaf crafters.

Lititz Craft Show and Lunch Two

We're thrilled you had another fun trip with us!  Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review!  We look forward to seeing you on future trips!

Another well planned, fully attended bus full of excited GSG trip goers to Montreal and Quebec! Led by Vikki and our driver, Dayshaun, we arrived in the city of Montreal to the lovely Delta Marriott hotel, in the heart of the entertainment district, and had a relaxing, delicious dinner on site. While a brief overnight stay in Montreal, our informative local tour guide and planned stops along the way led us to the highlight of arriving in Quebec. The Hotel Palace Royal was beautiful, comfortable and just outside the arched entry to Old Quebec City. A full day /evening of touring included local stops, lunch in Old Quebec City, a guided tour of the amazing waterside Chateau Frontenac and dinner in the area. Truly the highlight of this trip, a return and more time spent in Quebec is hopefully in the future! 
Finally, on our last evening, fun was had by all on a relaxing cruise and stay in Lake George, NY. As always, a jam packed Garden State Getaways trip leaving you wanting to return for more!!

Show was fantastic. Bus trip to and return were great. Restaurant appetizers and desserts were good. Entres were okay. Service was great, but seating was less than desirable. Even for New York standards we felt like we were packed in like sardines. 

Happy to hear you enjoyed the exhibition.  Sorry to hear you did not enjoy your meal at Don Pepe's.  It is usually a favorite spot for Spanish/Portuguese dining.

Loved the show. Amazing group of musicians, singers and dancers. The time flew by. Couldn’t believe it was over. I highly recommend this play to everyone.

Another fabulous day with Garden State Getaways!  John, the trip leader, is very personable and friendly.  Lunch at Havana Central was plentiful and delicious and the play, "Buena Vista Social Club" was incredible!  I was "dancing" in my seat as were many other people in the theater.  Orchestra seats were perfect.  As always, had a terrific day!

Sight & Sound is a favorite, for sure!  So happy you had a wonderful day with us!  Thank you!

All the people were wonderful but the hotel in Quebec was sub standard. Restaurant was a problem. Rafaela restaurant should be reconsidered as well.

The idea of a bus trip to the ballgame is a wonderful idea.   No aggravation over driving, traffic , and parking.    Well done. 

The food at the stadium was not very good.   Hot dogs and sausage were cold.  The pretzel was impossible to chew.   Fried chicken fingers were dry.  The fries and beer were terrific.   Typical stadium food.    Not a lot you can do to improve.

There were plenty of Craft tents, but a lot were similar in products. 
Bus drop off/ pick up was not convenient to the area of cafes. 
Lunch was great as always and with low traffic, everything was right on time.

It was a great day strolling the streets and admiring the talents of the crafters.  I purchased a few treats to bring home.  Lunch was delicious.  Weather was on our side.

The trip was good but not up to the standards we are used to with Garden State Getaways.  We had an issue with the toilet in the first hotel which was addressed and supposedly fixed but turned out it wasn’t.  Management and GSG took care of it in a timely manner so thank you.  The last hotel did not have room for toiletries so we needed to put the luggage rack in the bathroom. The second guide did not seem to take people who have trouble walking into consideration. She was go, go, go. Personally I did not have a problem but others did.  Lastly, most of the lunches were on our own and not included in the cost.  All in all I give it 5 out of 10 stars. We did see quite a lot of attractions which for the most part were amazing.
