The Carol Sing has become one of the most significant Christmas concerts in northern New Jersey. The ambiance of candlelight and season décor, along with the Cathedral Choir, organ, brass, percussion, and thousands of participants combine to create an event that must be experienced.  Prior to the concert you will have the opportunity to explore the Ballentine House at the Newark Museum.  Built in 1885, this mansion reveals many unseen stories of the skilled craftspeople who built the home, those who kept it running, and the Ballantine family who lived here. Contemporary art, historical objects, and new interactive experiences highlight the rich history and diversity of Newark’s many communities.  Enjoy dinner at a Newark Portuguese Restaurant.
